National Website Redesign

Checks may be made out to the Schoenstatt Fathers and sent to W284N746 Cherry Ln., Waukesha, WI 53188 with a Memo “National website”.

Objective

Our simple goal is to create a beautiful landing page for the Schoenstatt Movement in the United States where people interested in getting involved can contact local Schoenstatters.

Secondary goals

Aside from our main audience—incoming members—we want to cater to current Schoenstatt members, bishops and our international Schoenstatt community.

Schoenstatt members

We hope to stay connected through clear communication of our leadership bodies in the form of blog posts.

Bishops

Our internal leadership structure is complicated and often not well understood. We hope to provide a straightforward, visual explanation of Schoenstatt’s national decision structure.

International Schoenstatt Community

There are special moments in which the global Schoenstatt community comes together to celebrate. We think of the 100 year anniversary of Fr. Kentenich’s birth in 1985, the 50 year anniversary of the 31st of May letter in Chile, 1999, the 100 year anniversary of the Covenant of love in 2014 and the CoronaMater initiative in 2020. We hope to provide clear channels of communication to Schoenstatt leaders in the USA to stay united as a family of faith around the globe.

Methodology

Conversations around the idea of a national website began in the Central committee meetings in Waukesha, WI in January of 2020. In February, this simple website was brought online. In June, this conversation was opened up to the Texan Central committee and in September we decided to contract a designer to build a new website for us.

Please help us make this dream a reality!
